I'm Keana, but you can call me LP. I didn't come to this from a textbook. I'm a co-chair of one of Empower LA's 99 neighborhood councils, now in my second term on the board. I've run the agendas, taken the minutes, sat through more meetings than I can count and called more than one point of order. I learned most of it the hard way, because nobody gave me a straight answer either. Everything here comes from real experience, in real meetings, with real boards doing real work. Not theory. Not academia.
